Education and Classes:

The purpose of the educational ministry at First Baptist is to equip one another toward Christian maturity and Ministry. Bible study (Sunday School) on Sunday mornings at 9:45 serves as our primary means of accomplishing this purpose. We provide classes for all ages from preschoolers to our oldest adults. Our children are presented with the basics of learning the stories and truths from God’s word. Young people are presented with studies which inspire and challenge enabling them to better apply the word of God in making Godly decisions. Adults focus on a more in-depth, relevant study empowering them to mature in their faith
Additionally we offer small group studies on Sunday evenings for adults which cover specialized studies in a more casual setting.

Children's ministry:

Wednesday evenings are truly dedicated to our children through the WOW (Worship on Wednesdays) ministry. AWANAS begin at 6:15 for three years olds through 6th grade. This exciting emphasis focuses on learning scripture in a fun way and also includes games and opportunities to earn badges and rewards for their efforts. Mission activities begin at 7:15. Our GA’s, RA’s, and Mission Friends focus on learning about missions and also actively learning how to share of themselves to others in our community. Also during the summer additional fun and learning activities are offered including VBS.

Sunday evenings at 5:30pm the children have choir rehearsal. Children are grouped by grade level. They learn all about the many ways to worship through music. Several times throughout the year the children have special programs to glorify the Lord in music.
