I enrolled in seminary and began a pastorate at Pleasant Glade Baptist Church of Colleyville, Texas in November of that year. I graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages degree in December, 2003. In July of 2007, I was hired by Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I worked for FCA on the campus of Iowa State University where I was the campus director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and served as the Chaplain for the ISU football team. On April 17, 2011, I accepted the call of God to become the pastor of FBC Celina and began my pastorate on May 8, 2011. My wife Marcy and I have three children, Delaney, Jake, and Ellie. In my spare time, I enjoy bow hunting, working out and watching college football. Gig ’em!

My wife, Erica, and I met in the youth group at FBC McKinney, my senior year in High School, the same year felt a calling to full-time ministry. We were married in 2009 and have two children: Holly(2013), David(2015). I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2009 with a B.A. in Sociology, and again in 2014 with a Master of Arts in Christian Education degree. Before arriving at FBC Celina I began my career at FBC McKinney and Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church. From 2010 – 2018 I served as the Student/Associate Pastor of Waddill Street Baptist Church in McKinney. I started serving in student ministry in 2006 and it is the passion of our lives. My wife and I love students; we get to watch them grow up physically and spiritually, and we love serving with them throughout their time in the student ministry. We are so excited to walk through this journey with parents and students as partners in this ministry.
