Ministry Values

We will passionately pursue knowing the Lord.
“My goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death assuming that I will somehow reach the resurrection from among the dead. Not that I have already reached the goal or am already fully mature, but I make every effort to take hold of it because I also have been taken hold of by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:10-12
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Matthew 22:37

God authentically loves people. This ministry is not about bricks and mortar; it is not about programs but about authentically loving people as God has commanded us.
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:39
“I give you a new commandment: love one another. Just as I have loved you, you must love one another.” John 13:34

As God’s people, we will strive for Christ-like purity both publicly and privately.
“As obedient children, do not be conformed to the desires of your former ignorance but as the One who called you is holy, you also are to be holy in all your conduct; for it is written, Be Holy, because I am Holy.” 1 Peter 1:14-16

The proper position of all Christ followers is that of a servant. We are servants of the Lord. We are servants in the church. We are servants in our community.
“When Jesus had washed their feet and put on His robe, He reclined again and said to them, ‘Do you know what I have done for you? You call Me Teacher and Lord. This is well said, for I am. So if I your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example that you also should do just as I have done for you.” John 13:12-15

We are all partners in the ministry of the gospel and as such we will promote the attitudes of teamwork and unity.
“From Him the whole body, fitted and knit together by every supporting ligament, promotes the growth of the body for building up itself in love by the proper working of each individual part.” Ephesians 4:16
